23. your shoes
Yesterday, my little weather widget said that today’s high would be 63 degrees. So I was all “Yay flip flopssss” and didn’t bother to double check that this morning. Now the widget says today’s high is 49. I STILL DON’T CARE YAY FLIP FLOPSSSSS!
I actually took this photo a while ago to mock up a garage door on to the front of our building (lol our biggest client is a garage door manufacturer, so we do a lot of garage door stuff… and can name a collection/model number on your garage as we drive by. This is not luxurious life but it is mine hahaha).
21. a fave photo of you
This pretty much sums me up. Laughing, hanging on the arm of the man I love, in my natural habitat - the sea, sun on my skin and smile on my face!
Oh that’s right, when my to do list has to do with an upcoming vacation, I go all out. Two toned, special fonts, little arrows. I spear no to-do-list expense when it is for something I want to do. However, my work to do list is much sloppier, only one color, and not even half as much fun.
19. something you hate to do.
Dishes. I get that no one really likes to do dishes. I hate to do dishes. So much that my wedding vows included a promise to do the laundry but only if Eric did the dishes. Just thinking about them long enough to make this post is making me angry.
17. time
One morning I came into work and the monitor elves had left me a second monitor. It makes working a lot easier… except I still look to the far right of my display for the time. All the dang time. I had to get a silly little clock app so that it could sit in that corner and I wouldn’t look there an be like WHATTTT TIMMMEEE ISSS ITTTTT.
16. something new
An awesome Pete Rose tshirt I just bought and immediately ran home to put on. Aww Charlie Hustle I am so stoked to have you on my shirt.
This is my work phone. When it rings I side eye it. Serious side eye. When I was little, my dream was to someday have a multiline phone system in my house. I fantisized about putting friends on hold, clicking over to line 3 and calling for pizza. These were the kind of end all be all awesomeness things that were on my “When I am Successful” checklist. Imagine my surprise at the world of cellular phones. I don’t even have a landline anymore. I was a weird kid…
I couldn’t believe I didn’t think ahead enough to have bought a heart print dress for today. But it is cold out, and prefer the jeans/tee/sweater combo I got going on. It is Valentine’s Day, though, and I couldn’t have left the house heartless! :)
