Last night, instead of going out to see a movie, we decided to tackle the new thing I had been talking about all night.  My first adult blanket fort!

The last blanket fort I made as a child was with my best friend Steph.  It ended in a huge fight - mainly because I got the Rainbow Bright horse and she got the Rainbow Brite doll, and she wanted both and I just wanted to eat dinner and watch the A-Team.  The end result was a torn down blanket fort, and apparently an end of an era of comforter construction.

I thought my blanket forts back then were good, but they were nothing like the awesome one we built last night!  It had awesome lighting, and even better company!  My cat, who is actually a tunnel enthusiast, did not appreciate our hard work and tried to tear it down pretty much all night.  But all that prepubescent practice came in handy because we built a solid sheet palace that could not fall.
